IBM Token-Ring PCI Family Adapter Driver

UnixWare 7 supports the following IBM Token-Ring PCI Family adapters:

• IBM PCI Token-Ring Adapter

• IBM PCI Wake on LAN Token-Ring Adapter

• IBM 16/4 Token-Ring PCI Adapter 2

• IBM 16/4 Token-Ring PCI Adapter 2 with Wake on LAN

• IBM 16/4 Token-Ring PCI Special

• IBM High-Speed 100/16/4 Token-Ring PCI Adapter

• IBM 16/4 Token-Ring PCI Management Adapter

• IBM High Speed 100/16/4 Token-Ring PCI Management Adapter

To complete configuration for this adapter, the Network Configuration Manager prompts you for:

• DATARATE
  Ring data rate option

• FDX
  Full-duplex mode option

• FRAMESZ
  Maximum Frame size option

• LAA
  Locally Administered Address. Enter using this format: 40xxxxxxxxxx where the x's represent your unique address.

To configure the IBM High-Speed 100/16/4 Token-Ring PCI Adapter for 100Mbps the DATARATE option does not need to be configured, but the FDX option must be set to YES.
