ISDN_SELECT_B_PROTOCOL.ISDN_REQ(D7isdn)

ISDN_SELECT_B_PROTOCOL.ISDN_REQ -- ISDN change protocol request

Synopsis

   #include <sys/stream.h>
   #include <sys/mdi.h>
   #include <sys/types.h>
   #include <sys/scoisdn.h>

typedef struct isdn_select_b_protocol_req { isdnPLCI_t plci; isdnBproto_t bProto; } isdn_select_b_protocol_req_t;

Description

The ISDN_SELECT_B_PROTOCOL.ISDN_REQ message consists of one M_PROTO(D7str) message block requesting a protocol change. This message allows an application to change the current protocol during the lifetime of a physical connection after receiving an ISDN_CONNECT_ACTIVE.ISDN_IND(D7isdn).

Support for this message is optional. If a particular ISDN driver does not support such switching, the isdnInfo(D4isdn) parameter in the corresponding ISDN_SELECT_B_PROTOCOL.ISDN_CONF(D7isdn) will be set to ISDN_INFOCODE20_ESTATE (message not supported in current state).

Parameters

plci
Physical Link Connection Identifier; see isdnPLCI(D4isdn).

bProto
B protocol to use; see isdnBproto(D4isdn).
