iobitmapctl -- enable/disable/check user access to I/O ports

int iobitmapctl(iob_request_t iob_rqt, ushort_t ports[])

Description

iobitmapctl is used to check and control user access to I/O ports.

Access control is on a per-process basis. iobitmapctl operates on the currently running process.

Arguments


iob_rqt
The type of I/O port manipulation request.

ports
Null-terminated list of the I/O ports to be manipulated.

Return values

On an IOB_CHECK request, iobitmapctl returns non-zero if user access is enabled for all specified ports, otherwise zero. On an IOB_ENABLE or IOB_DISABLE request, the return value is ERRNO.

Usage

Valid values for iob_rqt are:

IOB_ENABLE
Enable user access to the specified ports.

IOB_DISABLE
Disable user access to the specified ports.

IOB_CHECK
Check user access to the specified ports.
