os_get_option -- return a configuration option

Synopsis

   const char *os_get_option(const char *param)

Description

os_get_option looks for a configuration option named param. If it finds one, it returns its value as a string. Otherwise it returns NULL. The parameter name matching is not case sensitive.

Arguments

param: the name of the configuration option

Return values

os_get_option returns a const char * pointer to a string corresponding to the param value. A value of NULL is returned if param was not found.
