Application compatibility

Users can run shrink-wrapped SCO^® UnixWare^® applications on UnixWare. Open Desktop^® Release 3.0 applications are supported only if they were supported in SCO UnixWare 1 and 2.

There is improved compatibility for some SCO OpenServer applications.

UNIX95

An optional UNIX95 environment is provided with UnixWare. When it is enabled, your system should fulfill the requirements of a UNIX95 compliant product. Applications developed in this environment are portable to a wide range of UNIX^® systems. See ``UNIX95 conformance'' for details.
