Managing filesystem types

Quick reference guide to managing filesystem types

The administrative procedures described here are based on shell commands. If you prefer, however, you can do many tasks through the Filesystem Manager instead.

The following table lists common tasks associated with managing filesystems, and shows both the shell commands and the Filesystem Manager menu items available for performing each task.

Display installed types - crash(1M)
List files by size - du(1M)
Identify a filesystem type * fstyp(1M)
