Sample fsck_dosfs command use

The command line below shows fsck entered to check a dosfs filesystem. The following items are true about this instance of fsck:

• No options are specified.

• The system response means that no inconsistencies were detected.

• The command operates in phases. As each phase is completed a message is displayed.

• At the end of the program a status report about the disk is displayed.

     # fsck -F dosfs /dev/rdsk/f1t
