Introduction to using the system

Using Netscape

The Netscape browser is provided with UnixWare. If your computer is connected to an appropriate server, you can use Netscape to browse the world wide web, read news, and send and receive email. You can also use it to read HTML files stored locally on your computer.

To start Netscape, click the Netscape icon or menu option. If it is not visible on the desktop, you can find it on the SCO sub-panel.

Netscape has its own online help system, which you can access from the Help menu in the Netscape browser.
