Managing Hot Plugable controllers

Turning a slot attention indicator on or off

On some systems, an attention LED (Light Emitting Diode) is located next to each slot inside the machine (there might also be a power LED). When turned on, an attention LED provides a visual aid to help you identify the slot to be worked on.

The Hot Plug Manager attention indicator for a slot is used to turn an attention LED on or off, and indicate its state. Use of the attention indicator and LED is optional.
