Using the Mail and Messaging system

Sending and receiving mail from a network client

Both the POP3 and IMAP4 protocols are supported and no server configuration is necessary for you to access your mailbox from a network client. The system administrator does have to create a UNIX account and password before you can access mail from a network client.
