Two character based mailers are provided for mail reading.
Pine is a full screen MIME capable mailer and is accessible merely by typing pine at the shell prompt. For a full description of this system, refer to The Pine MUA.
mail(1) and mailx(1) are the same program and are accessible by typing either name at the shell prompt.
