Administering port monitors

Configuration scripts for systems and port monitors

Configuration scripts tailored to individual systems and port monitors are administered using sacadm; configuration scripts written for individual services are administered using pmadm and are described in ``Administering port services''. Configuration scripts specific to systems and port monitors allow you to modify the system and port monitor environments. They are written in the interpreted language described in doconfig(3iac), and in ``The configuration language''. Sample configuration scripts are shown below.

The system-specific configuration script, _sysconfig, is interpreted when the SAC daemon is starting. A port monitor's per-port monitor configuration script is interpreted by the SAC daemon just before it starts the port monitor.

Configuration scripts specific to systems and port monitors may be printed by any user on the system. Only the system administrator may install or replace them.
