Configuring the Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP)

Callback options

The following options define how a bundle will handle callback of an incoming user in a bi-directional bundle:

Call back remote system
If set to Yes, the local system will drop an incoming call after authentication, and then attempt to establish an outgoing connection to the remote system by calling it back.

If set to No, the bundle can be used either for an incoming connection or for an outgoing connection, but no attempt will be made to call back an incoming user.

Callback attempt delay
The length of time (in tenths of a second) that will elapse before an attempt is made to call back a remote system. The default value is 300 (30 seconds).
