Configuring the Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP)

Using the PPP wizards

The PPP Manager provides two wizards that help you to set up incoming and outgoing connections quickly and easily.

To start a PPP Manager wizard:

  1. In the PPP Manager, select View -> Bundles, and then select Wizard -> Add.

  2. Select the type of connection that you want to create:
Once you have used a wizard to set up incoming or outgoing PPP link configurations, you can use the PPP Manager itself to modify these. Provided that you have not changed the configurations beyond the bounds that the wizards understand (such as converting an incoming bundle into a bi-directional bundle with callback), you can use a wizard to modify a chosen bundle by selecting Wizard -> Modify.
