Configuring incoming PPP connections

The PPP Incoming Connection Wizard interface

You can use the PPP Incoming Connection Wizard to define incoming PPP links.

NOTE: You must have already configured the communications device(s) that you intend to use for PPP. Suitable devices are modems and ISDN terminal adapters. See ``The Modem Manager'' and ``Adding ISDN devices'' for more information on how to configure your system for such devices.

To define the configuration of a new incoming connection using the PPP Incoming Connection Wizard, select Software -> Configure PPP to start the PPP Manager, select View -> Bundles, select Wizard -> Add, then select Incoming -- Remote Access Server, and click on Start.

To modify an existing incoming configuration using the PPP Incoming Connection Wizard, select Software -> Configure PPP to start the PPP Manager, select View -> Bundles, select the incoming bundle to be modified, select Wizard -> Modify, then select Incoming -- Remote Access Server, and click on Start.

For more information about using the SCOadmin managers, see ``Administering your system with SCOadmin''.
