Desktops

The desktops online documentation explains how to work with desktop applications including SCOadmin and DocView.

Two desktops are currently provided by UnixWare 7:

CDE
The CDE desktop is enabled by default. For information on configuring and using this desktop, choose CDE help from the Help menu (above the help icon) on the CDE desktop. This starts the CDE help browser.

Panorama
The Panorama desktop is enabled by selecting Options > Session > Panorama Desktop from the graphical login. This desktop is provided for those who want to customize an OSF/Motif environment based on the pmwm window manager. For information on this desktop, see pmwm(X1).
In addition, a failsafe session, described on the dtgreet(X1) manual page, allows you to recover from an incorrectly- configured desktop.

The KDE Desktop is also available if LKP is installed. See .
