The
-u
option of the
auditrpt
command is used to display audit information for specific users.
The argument to the
-u
option may consist of one or more users.
A user may be specified by either
a login name or numeric UID.
Each login name or UID must be separated by a comma.
A space will
be interpreted as the end of the user list.
For example, to display all information related to the user
gailg
enter the following command:
auditrpt -u gailg
The following command displays audit information for the user
whose UID is
210
and the user
wts:
auditrpt -u 210,wts
User names and UIDs are validated against the information contained in the
audit map files.

If an invalid user uid or login name is given as input to the
-u
option,
auditrpt
will display the following warning message and continue processing:
user id user does not exist in audit map
