ISDN_ALERT.ISDN_REQ(D7isdn)

ISDN_ALERT.ISDN_REQ -- ISDN call compatibility request

Synopsis

   #include <sys/stream.h>
   #include <sys/mdi.h>
   #include <sys/types.h>
   #include <sys/scoisdn.h>

typedef struct isdn_alert_req { isdnPLCI_t plci; isdnAddInfo_t info; } isdn_alert_req_t;

Description

The ISDN_ALERT.ISDN_REQ message consists of one M_PROTO(D7str) message block indicating an application's compatibility to an incoming call. The application will send an ISDN_ALERT.ISDN_REQ message to the network to prevent the call from expiring (no user responding). If an application is able to accept the call immediately, it is not necessary to use this message; the application can immediately issue a ISDN_CONNECT.ISDN_RESP(D7isdn) message to the driver.

Parameters

plci
Physical Link Connection Identifier; see isdnPLCI(D4isdn).

info
additional information elements; see isdnInfo(D4isdn). This parameter should be coded as an empty structure if no additional information (for example, user data) has to be transmitted.
