Creating the hook file

Hook files are located in /usr/lib/scohelp/hooks. To create a hook file, gather all the widget sums you collected in a file called managerGUI.hk, where managerGUI is name given to the name of the executable file of your SCOadmin manager. For example, the hook file for the Account Manager is called accountGUI.hk.


NOTE: The hook file name must also be defined as the HELPBOOK within your SCOadmin manager.

Each line in the hook file should contain the following, with each column separated by tabs:

widgetsum helpfile comment
